Andrew Fleming is the owner and creative designer of Overland Interiors, a small design and CNC fabrication shop based in Dundas, Ontario, Canada. With over 30 years of experience in cabinetry and interior design, Andy crafts functional, ready-to-install, modern furniture for vans, camper vans, SUVs, and overland rigs. It began with this message to Chrome Valdez of VANCITY VANLIFE:
"Chrome, I’ve been following you on your YouTube channel for over a year now and wanted to invite you to come by our shop if you’re ever in Ontario. We’d love to help you with your build.”
And that was the moment the Van Life bug bit me! I did a deep dive into the world of van build videos and in the fall of 2019, Chrome made his first trip from BC's west coast to Dundas, Ontario.
What started as a quick “touch up” of the existing cabinetry quickly evolved into a full custom build, capturing Chrome's unique charm & personality. By the time he headed back, Chrome had a brand-new set up, and in 2020, he was back for a second round. This September (2025) he and Cruzie are bringing their new Mercedes Sprinter to the shop for a custom Overland Interiors build that we'll be selling as a kit right here on the site.
